Our Commitment
MyPhysioHelp.it is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards.
Standards
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
Measures Taken
We have taken the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
- Descriptive alt text for all informational images
- Sufficient color contrast ratios for text and interactive elements
- Keyboard navigable interface
- Responsive design that works across devices and screen sizes
- Text-to-speech audio versions of articles for users who prefer listening
- Table of contents for long-form articles to aid navigation
- Font sizing and line spacing optimized for readability
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some content may have limitations:
- Some older articles may have images without complete alt text descriptions. We are progressively updating these.
- Infographic images contain text that may not be fully accessible to screen readers. The article text covers the same information.
- Some embedded third-party content (e.g., Amazon product widgets) may not meet all accessibility standards.
